PE Evidence

Using our evidence capture tool in Physical Education enables teachers to efficiently record, organise and assess pupil progress in real time. By capturing photos, videos and observations during lessons, teachers gain accurate, meaningful insights that support reliable assessment against curriculum objectives. This reduces paperwork, saves valuable time and ensures evidence is securely stored and easy to access for reporting, moderation and inspections such as Ofsted.

It also supports pupil engagement by creating digital portfolios that showcase progress and achievements, helping pupils reflect on their learning and take greater ownership. For teachers, this leads to more informed planning, personalised feedback and a clearer understanding of individual and whole-class development, ultimately improving the quality of PE provision.

PE Evidence Library

Subject Leaders will also be able to access an evidence archive to view and monitor all evidence capture, providing a clear overview of teaching, learning and progression across the school. This will also display historic previous years’ information, enabling long-term tracking of pupil development and supporting strategic planning and whole-school improvement. A simple filter function allows leaders to quickly search evidence by date, year group, class or child-specific tags, making moderation, reporting and preparation for inspections such as Ofsted far more efficient and evidence-led.

Digital PE Portofolio

Additionally, all pupils will have a personalised PE evidence timeline and multimedia wall where evidence is collated from across completed units of work, creating a rich and engaging digital portfolio. This sits alongside easy-to-interpret report cards that combine assessment data with wider PE insights, such as participation, effort and skill development. Together, these features help teachers identify trends, provide targeted feedback and celebrate progress, while also giving pupils and parents a clear, accessible view of achievement and ongoing development in Physical Education.

Mr Jones
PE Lead, Lane End Primary
As PE lead I am now confident that PE delivery is consistent across the whole school. The PE Passport scheme of work is structured to ensure any member of staff can pick it up and deliver lessons.
Mrs Hardacre
St Mark’s CofE
My staff were fearful of teaching PE as we have had outside providers for a number of years. Dance and Gymnastics was a particular area of worry but using the PE Passport lesson plans especially the videos has made this much easier.
