Primary PE Scheme of Work, written by PE specialists

The platform enables teachers to create a long term plan by selecting units from our PE scheme of work, and access a medium term overview where the skills and knowledge of each lesson are displayed. As the PE scheme of work has all been written and created by Primary trained teachers with PE specialism, you will also find included colour coded Teaching Points and Key Questions to assist in the delivery of the lesson objectives as well as supporting diagrams to assist in the lesson layout and instructional videos to display the skill and / or lesson in action.

Each lesson contains:

Our EYFS PE scheme of work covers Fundamental Movement Skills across a number of units including Locomotion, Stability as well as Dance and Gymnastics. To support the delivery we also have an in built FMS tracker that can track progress from Pupils entering school

The units of work in Key Stage 1 progresses the basic fundamental movement skills taught in EYFS further and starts to look at using them across the PE National Curriculum in units such as Invasion Games, Striking and Fielding, Net and Wall Games as well introducing OAA and Athletics.

Once in Key Stage 2 the PE scheme of work now looks at sport specific units such as Football, Tag Rugby, Netball and many more. Here the skills are now taught alongside understanding the rules as well as applying principles such as attacking and defending.

The upper key stage 2 lesson plans are again sport specific with more emphasis on using strategies and tactics as well as introducing units such as Team Building, Orienteering and Health Related Fitness

WHAT OUR CUSTOMERS SAY

Mrs Richards
DHT, St Marys
The PE Passport PE scheme of work has led to increased confidence amongst staff. Within each PE lesson plan there are clear lesson objectives, teaching points and supporting resources that make PE delivery much simpler.
Mr Lowry
DHT, Clarendon Road
A complete time saver for all staff. With the equipment lists and supporting resources within each lesson plan, staff can now focus on working with the pupils and ensuring their progress.
Mr Jones
PE Lead, Lane End Primary
As PE lead I am now confident that PE delivery is consistent across the whole school. The PE Passport scheme of work is structured to ensure any member of staff can pick it up and deliver lessons.
Mrs Hardacre
St Mark’s CofE
My staff were fearful of teaching PE as we have had outside providers for a number of years. Dance and Gymnastics was a particular area of worry but using the PE Passport lesson plans especially the videos has made this much easier.
